Em-Body-Ment

In this project, we explored how the intersection of the body, power, and language, specifically as they relate to gender. After we engaged in multiple mapping exercises, we designed a cultural probe toolkit and distributed it to ten people. Based on the results, we are applying for a university sponsored grant to iterate and expand the toolkit. This was a final project as part of a Design Led Research course at Parsons.

Cultural Probe Toolkit

Our cultural probe toolkit was comprised of three activities, as well as a basic information form. We distributed it to ten people. The toolkit was focused on how physic acts, language, and power impact the participants daily lives through the lens of gender.
